Operating at the EU’s political and legislative center, the Brussels office focuses on EU and national competition law, as well as trade and sector regulation. Our lawyers are qualified in key Member States, have in-depth experience and knowledge of various national laws and procedures, speak local languages, know the national authorities, and are accustomed to coordinating complex cross-border projects.
Working in our Brussels office gives you the opportunity to be involved with high-profile international matters with a particular focus on competition law. We advise clients on all aspects of European competition law, including mergers, cartels, abuses of dominant positions and other behavioural work. You will work with colleagues and clients throughout Europe and across the globe.

Qualified associates are in high demand, so we are interested in meeting attorneys experienced in competition and EU law. Ideal candidates are qualified to practice law in the EU, has an interest in competition law, demonstrates our values of Excellence, Leadership, and Citizenship, and is fluent in both written and spoken English.
Training
Our Brussels office has an excellent on-going training program that includes sessions with both internal and external presenters. When you first join our Brussels office, we carry out a round of 1-on-1 training sessions with more senior associates and counsel providing you with practical insights and tips on how to develop as a successful lawyer in competition law. In addition, we organize regular know-how sessions aimed at sharing expertise and best practices internally in the office or receiving external speakers who update us on the latest issues in their area of specialization such as from Commission officials, competition economists or lobbyists.
You will also work closely with senior associates and partners to gain practical experience in all areas of our practice.
